the ans is just about very hard it seems... my dad passed me 4 free tix to watch the preview of ironman today at 7 at lido last week. i asked about 12+ ppl and only 4 could make it... then yest my dad passed me another 2 tix. asked about another 8+ ppl and only 1 could make it. then last min some bugger back out of the show. luckily someone else decided to watch the show. so in the end 1 tix was wasted. what a waste of a free movie at a good cinema. haiz
anyway today i went to jeeva's chalet with lil jay, warren, jason aloy. in the afternoon. didnt really do much there, basically tok kok abit and played taboo and i free load jeeva's vodka. oh did u know if u gulp down vodka u get this weird hot burning feeling in ur belly? lol. after that Ivan came and then everyone started talking about World of Warcraft.
everyone except me li ju and jeeva that is. so we played with his android phone which is so cool. it has a auto tracking system that even allows u to track the location of ur frens if they allow u too. then it also has this function called SHAZAM that allows you to identify any song! well.... not any song.... it has to have been pre recorded. this means no live music, humming or singing the tune. the cool thing is that all u have to do is open the application and it has its own mic to record any part of the song for about 10 secs.... and its surprisingly accurate!!! i think we spend like 1 hour plus trying to find a song it could not identify correctly. so far the only things it had trouble with is some classical music and some korean music. *however it could identify tamil songs! lol*
after that we left the chalet at around 5 45pm and jeeva drove us to far east. massive jam. jason kan chiong spider kept keeping track of time lol. well, the movie was free seating, means no allocated seats. reached far east at about 6 50 i think, and we ran all the way to lido. all of us were wearing slippers so it was so dam noisy la hahaha! it must have been a sight to behold as 5 of us run to the underpass, to lido then up the escalator, with our slippers echoing piak piak piak! in the underpass hahaha! i had to stop myself from laughing as i ran la lol
anyway we reached the cinema at about 7 o5? not too sure, but luckily there were some good seats left even though there were so many people. ironman 2 wasnt too bad, actually it was quite cool, wun rate it a MUST watch though. anyway, im not too sure whether its because we were in lido cinema 1, the supposedly BIGGEST cinema in singapore, but at some parts of the movie i wondered if i was watching the movie in 4d or something. IM NOT EXAGGERATING!!! at the explosion parts i could literally feel my whole seat vibrate so bad i wondered if the cinema was going to explode too!! the experience was AWESOME to say the least =)
all right, i guess thats all for now. Oh and for those of you who are going to watch ironman 2, as with all of the recent marvel comic movies, remember to stay back after the credits for a short prequel to the coming AVENGERS movie =)
just to sidetrack..... WHERE IS CAPTAIN AMERICA???? he should have been there to teach Tony stark a lesson or 2 about responsibility and humility -.-""

all right!!! my first sem is officially over!!! 3 weeks holiday =)))))
anyway the reason y i haven been blogging is because im busy playing DRAGONAGE: ORIGINS on my com. i was also playing it during my exam period lol. if i was not playing i was studying, if i was not studying i was probably sleeping or eating. so as u can see i had no time to even come online to chat.
anyway i finally went aston on monday with ws king wm and qm for dinner. we went to the one at Suntec city. im surprised there was such a long que even though it was a monday. jeez i dun like queing for food -.- anyway i ordered some salmon fillet thing. the food is alright i guess other than the fact that my fish had BONES!!!
now if my mum was here she would probably go " OF COS fish got bones la!! u dowan bones u go eat jellyfish!" *and u wonder y i always say ur cooking is bad....* OF COS i know fish got bones la but i dunno about u this is the first time i ate a salmon fillet in a restaurant that has so many bones in it. and quite big ones too! big enough to choke you if you are not careful. oh and i dun like my fish to have bones in them..... as well as prawns with shells.... and dun start on how OF COS prawns have shells....
ok then after that we went to watch rec 2. overall i think the movie was kinda lousy. but then there were some very interesting parts of the show.

ok for those of you who never watch rec 1, it is about a building that has been quarantined to contain some infectious virus that will turn ppl into zombies like those from house of the dead.
alright, firstly the show started with some swat team of 4 or 5 ppl entering the building with some medical guy, who is the person in charge, to investigate the problem. note that these are SWAT TEAM WITH FULLY LOADED AUTOMATIC RIFLES. what i fail to understand is how they can get attack by zombies and not shoot them. i also fail to understand why the soldiers refuse to shoot the bleddy zombies even when ordered to by the superior. in the end the superior had to grab a shotgun and do the work -.-
okok lemme tell u what the interesting part of the show is. The "zombie infection" is not actually caused by a virus as seen in most games and other zombie shows. it is actually caused by..........................................................

here it comes!..........................................

alright now i will just give u a min to let it sink in...............................
all right maybe for some of u u will be thinking "errrr ya SO????* demonic possesion. and this is rather interesting, as it opens alot of possibilities. now instead of thinking of "run and gun zombies", there is something more sinister involved, like suddenly a ju on monster crawls out of the victim or smt.
ok so it was then revealed that the medical officer is actually a priest. and was send to find the blood of the first possessed victim. ok so now we know there is unholy magic involved. so thats when the movie starts to be more ju on style. at the beginning the team went to the "penthouse" of the building to search for the original victim but failed to find anything. somethings happen blah blah blah which made them decide to go up to check it again. part of the blah blah includes interogatting a zombie. *exorcism anyone?* yea so they went up but nothing was to be found. so the priest suggested turning off the lights and using the nightvision mode of the camera to see *note that they did not have night vision goggles. only one guy was holding the camera*
ALAS! a door stood before them where it was a solid wall before. apparently the door could only be seen when ther is no light. then they went in the door and on the light. nothing to be found. so they off the light and use nightvision again.
in place of a bunch of tables and medical trays stood.... a well....or at least....wad seems like a well. one guy placed his hand into the well claiming to have found something. and then.........OMG the guy was pulled into the well!!!! *im sure u expected that too =)))*
there was some "wtf is going on!! " and "omg omg!!" and the guy ONed the light. guess wad? the well was gone and so was the brave man who was dragged into the well. i tot this part of the story was rather well done =)) not enough to give nightmares but it satisfied my inner horror fanboy =))

stupid computor crashed
argh my stupid com crashed!!!! it happened while i was quitting my game * and i was planning to start revison!!!* The com hanged and so i turned off the main power and after that windows could not start up. *SHOCK, DISBELIEF, WTF, OMG* and i went...

Luckily it was a problem with the OS not the hard disc because..... MY PSY NOTES ARE STORED IN THE COM!!! and so are all my recently downloaded music but thats not the point...
SOOO instead of revising i spend the half the day looking for solutions to retrieve my data. Thanks goes to li ju for suggesting that i upgrade to windows 7 to retrieve my files *pirated of cos* and so the other half of the day was spent downloading windows 7 and reinstalling everything else... but my music files was saved!!! so were my psy notes!!! ^^
the feeling of seeing my com work again.... the feeling is indescribable. Its like u suddenly realize that you dun have cancer. i mean how would u describe that kind of feeling???
now im faced with another problem. i built my com to work with XP thus the 2 gig ram. now with windows 7 as the OS it is laggier than be4 and that pisses me. apparently windows 7 can work with up to a 8 gig ram. For those who dunno, previous windows only allows you to work with up to 4 gig ram, yea so to hel with those weasels at the IT show who were trying to sell u that 5 gig ram.... and odd numbered gig of ram are not even efficient -.-
alright im very sure i have to upgrade my ram but shld i upgrade it to 8 gig, 6 gig, or just 4 gig? decisions, decisions, decisions... =/
anyway my parents are back from INDIA!!! WHOOOO HOOOO!! no more need to wash/hang/iron clothes!!!!

help! my hands were clicking on its own accord!
fcked up weather. sunny, rain, sunny then sunny and rain -.- as u can imagine im so pissed with the weather cos it tried to disrupt my running schedule again.
just as i was about to leave house, it rained so i waited till 6 when the rain had stopped. my youngest brother came back from school so i told him to follow me so that he can bring buy dinner and bring it home while i make my way to the stadium. On the way to central it rained again albeit more heavy than be4 -.-
so i went to cheap and good nasi lemak shop to buy dinner. spoke to the auntie in sputtering chinese. then my brother said he wanted fishcake so i told the auntie to yi1 ke4 jia1 fishcake. i tot i was quite clear. but the auntie ask me ni3 yau4 yi1 BAU1 jia1 fish cake ar? i wanted to say "hey... are you mocking my chinese?" but of cos i didnt. then i turned to my brother and said u should have ordered since ur chinese better than mine. then he told me "fishcake in chinese is called yu2 ping3, i just learned it last week." LOL nice 1. lucky he didnt know the chinese names for hotdog, luncheon meat all that or i swear would have just left him there.
anyway it was raining dam heavily so i brought my brother back to the bus interchange since he said he did not know the sheltered way back. yea... he dosen go out much.. =/ Still raining... so i went into cash converters to watch a video of one of micheal jackson's concert. spend around 20 mins there... and i realised how bo hua a live concert is.... oooook a micheal jackson concert that is....... 10 mins of singing..... and 10 mins of watching ppk waving their hands, lighters, air bags, OTHER PEOPLE *yea dun ask....* when it stopped raining the camera was still on the crowd..
ok so it didnt exactly stop raining but i couldnt bear watching ppl who look like they are high on drugs any longer so i went ahead to the stadium to run. it was already 7 pus then. luckily, the old lady with the umbrella who likes to chase ppl who are running in the rain was not there, and i was able to keep to my regime =)
anyway after coming home i went on DOWNLOADING SPREEE!!!! well actually it wasnt me my hands moved on their own... Thanks YT for the website its dam freaking convenient. i downloaded a total of 25 songs! I refers to my hand.

Life sux when u have to juggle housework and school work... My parents have been in india since thursday. no food, no 1 to wash and hang clothes, yea basically its lidat. and it annoys me when i have to the do the work of 3 ppl.... for me and my 2 brothers
just yesterday the catered food did not come to my house and my youngest brother had cooked rice... guess wad? he told me he just ate rice with 1 fried egg and 1 apple. wtf! i was out jogging so i didnt know this til it was around 8 pm. *and my younger brother was MIA in his school somewhere..* i took a look in the rice pot and realize that there was still alot of rice... so i deduced that my brother did not eat much * what do expect? how much rice can 1 egg go with?*
my first thought was "that poor thing...".... second tot was " shyt, my mum is gonna nag me to death for allowing this to happen..." -.-
In the end i went to buy some food for me and my brother's dinner as well as some kaya bread for breakfast.
so anyway there was a whole bunch of clothes to wash. i had to split it into 2 piles. pek cek. washing hanging and ironing took up the whole night. of cos the ironing was the hardest part. i had to take out my shirt and tie a bandanna on my head to prevent sweat from dripping on the clothes... finished everything by 11 plus.
haizzz now to work on my math quiz and esl essay...

somebody has got to do something about the sun!!! every morning after 7am the sun shines right into my room and turns it into a oven. even if i pull down the blinds on the windows the heat burns true it and microwaves everything inside the room. If its not raining or anything i will wake up at 7 30 to 8 sweating like a pig and im pretty sure this is gonna impact my health some way or another -.-
and it doesn't help that my bed is right beside the window
or that i always keep my room door closed to keep out pest *like nosy parents or brothers*
or that i DO NOT sleep with air con

king of burgers
met up with jing mei, xue min and kai xiong on sat for dinner + tok kok session. actually wanted to go aston *i sms them "eastern" so they had no idea wad i was toking about lol...hey i really didnt know the spelling!!!* but the Q was too dam long. =/ decided on billa bongers then eehhh i mean billy bombers hahaha
jm and xm order same thing fish and chips BORING

ju on
Being a fan of the horror genre, i just had to watch the new ju on movie. i wun boast that im not afraid of horror shows like some irritating wayang ppl do. cause if i dun feel scared, it defeats the purpose of watching horror show right? anyway i can only take horror movies. im too scared to play horror games ><
ya so i watched ju on: white ghost and black ghost on Thursday with some uni frens. Basically the show consists of 2 short films. one showing the story of the white ghost and 1 of the black. they are not related though. It is not even related to the first 2 movies.
to tell you the truth, i was kind of disappointed that the old ju on ghost never come out =( *i know the small boy appeared but who cares about him lol* well, i guess she got reincarnated in the 2nd show so she is no longer a ghost now?
anyway i tot the white ghost part was rather scary but the black ghost was erm a failure. maybe im just racist? ya anyway u should watch it just to see the white ghost. actually, maybe watching in the cinema wasnt such a good idea for a show like ju on. erm its kinda hard to explain. k let me tell wad happened.
actually i wanted to post a picture of the old lady ghost *now i am paronoid when i see a short old lady on the street -.-* cos.... well... she is the star of the show hahaha! anyway, i could not find a picture so i went to youtube to find a video. kinda hard to find but i found the part i wanted. lemme tell u this. when i saw this scene in the cinema i was WTF!
but when i watched the scene on youtube... i just died on the spot. IM SERIOUS!!! as in its that scary when u watch it alone in your room with sound. anyway i will put the link here for those of you who have the guts to watch it.

but i guess most of you wun watch it judging from the last time i posted a silent hill trailer on my old blog -.- but seriously, even if u have watched be4 go see how its like watching on ur com =)
soooooo if u are really in for the scare then go watch it at home. thats wad i did for the first 2 shows. scared me shytless for 3 nights. of cos u dun have to do it alone but ya for best effect, watch at home with some friends if u wish.
ya so i watched ju on: white ghost and black ghost on Thursday with some uni frens. Basically the show consists of 2 short films. one showing the story of the white ghost and 1 of the black. they are not related though. It is not even related to the first 2 movies.
