My dad just returned from Kuching, Sarawak and guess wad he bought back some Kuching's famous kolo mee!
For those ppl who dunno wad kolo mee is, it is one of the more famous cuisines of Kuching. It looks like normal wantan or char siew noodles but it is alot drier, alot less "liao", and its taste is very different! It is actually a very low budget hawker fare though. The last time i was in Kuching, my dad or grandparents use to buy it off this small makeshift shop that seems to only open in the morning. Then it is always wrapped up in a clear plastic as seen in the pics. It is really nice because, i dun really like Kuching. It is hot, run down, just like a typical small city in Malaysia. But this. I have fond memories of this. It is too bad that sg's version of kolo mee is so expensive. come on, its supp to be a budget dish!
Anyway here i am, blogging early in the morning waiting for sch to start. The holidays were very short, but they were fruitful. Project Madonna and gym has been keeping me busy for the last week, till the point that i think i am starting to fall sick. That and my cursed insomnia is giving me problems. Anyone has suggestions to beat insomnia? exercising dosen work anymore, i will just feel dam shag but cannot sleep =/ If this carries on, think i have to invest in those music cds designed to help you sleep faster.
oh well, anyway school has come again and there is no running away from it. Hope that my lecturers will be fun and interesting! now i will just lie on my bed till its time to go sch hahaha
