I'm unfilial.
u better learn to treasure those around u.
there are some things that cannot be undone.
my parents have been very good to me.
and yet i still treat them so coldly.
when i see them, they are like strangers to me.
i cannot help it.
there is nth to talk about.
this habit/belief/value has been ingrained in me for so many years now.
they are strangers who treat me very well.
at times u are grateful.
other times u are weird out.
how do u respond to that?
how do u open ur heart to those that u have shut it off to?
how do u feel sorry for the ppl that u have despised since primary school?
the very ppl u have blamed for robbing ur childhood?

Yea, sometimes I tend to treat my parents in a very unfilial way too. I keep telling myself that I should really treasure them because they've been the ones always standing by my side.
ReplyDeleteIt takes time. Try bringing yourself to talk to them more, I think they will be more than happy to engage in a conversation with you.
zq i think u can start by talking to your dad. i think u can click with your dad since he jokes with you :p dont necessarily have to be close with them, just joke around like how your dad prolly does. think u can work from your dad first maybe the rest will fall into place.

ReplyDeleteyou don't really have to TALK to them or what u know...as in, if u dont have anything to say then dont say lo..juz like if u dont have anything to say to ur friends, dont say lo...but yea be nice to them...and grateful for the things they've done..but more imptly, be grateful for the things they're still doing :)
then dont talk to them about stuff if u cant! just joke around la like how your dad jokes with you. sounds quite cool father and son cracking the same kind of jokes tgt >.<

imagine u ask ur parents "what's for dinner?" or "what kind of cake are u getting for my bday?"
then they give you the "faster la fk/i where got scold u fk" kind of face and brush you off...not nice right?
